For nearly 80 years, Heights Pool has been the heart of Alamo Heights, where friends and families come together for fun in the sun.
An Olympic-size pool with lap lanes, a diving well with board and slide, a kiddie pool for the little ones, pickleball and basketball courts, and POOLSIDE — our newly renovated grill and full bar.

No court fees, ever — unlimited pickleball is included with your membership. Lighted courts, all skill levels, and open through the Off Season.

Take the plunge or slide into the Heights Pool’s deep end! Our diving board is ready for fearless dives, and our tall waterslide offer endless fun for thrill-seekers of all ages.
Lap Lanes
Our dedicated lap lanes are open to be booked daily for members, offering a refreshing space to train, exercise, or simply enjoy a peaceful swim.

Where is Heights Pool located?
We are at 250 Viesca St, San Antonio, TX 78209 — in the heart of Alamo Heights, minutes from Terrell Hills, Olmos Park, and Monte Vista.
Do you offer day passes?
No — Heights Pool is a membership club, and there is no waitlist: anyone can join! See our current membership options on the Passes page. Members can bring guests any day.
Can members bring guests?
Yes. Each membership account may bring up to 6 guests per day — $10 per adult and $5 per kid.
What membership options do you offer?
Family, Single Parent, Married Couple, Senior Couple, Single, and Senior Single passes — plus a $20 Nanny Pass. Current pricing is on our Memberships & Passes page.
What is the Off Season?
New for 2026: the pool stays open after Labor Day, from September 8 through December 13, with Off Season memberships at reduced prices. Early Bird pricing is available through August 15.
What are your hours?
Regular season (May 21 – Sept 7): Sundays & Mondays Noon–8:30 PM, Tuesdays–Saturdays 11 AM–8:30 PM. Off Season hours vary by month — see the schedule at the bottom of this page.
Can I host a birthday party or private event?
Yes! Parties can be hosted by any season pass holder in our Kiddie Pool or Deep End areas, with food & beverage packages starting at $10 per person. Book online at heightspoolparties.com.
Do you offer swim lessons?
Yes — swim lessons at Heights Pool are an independent program offered by Ann Howard and her team, with more than 50 years of experience teaching swimmers of all ages.
Is there a lifeguard on duty?
Yes — lifeguards are on duty during all open hours. Parents remain responsible for supervising their children.
Do you have food and drinks?
Yes. POOLSIDE, our newly renovated food & beverage concept, serves adult and kid-friendly favorites alongside a full bar.
What else is there besides swimming?
An Olympic-size pool for laps and leisure, a diving pool with diving board and water slide, a kiddie pool for the little ones, pickleball courts, a basketball court, plus ping-pong, corn hole, shaded cabanas, and holiday traditions like the Coin Toss and Race a Lifeguard.
Can non-members join Aqua Aerobics?
Yes — you do not need to be a pool member to participate in our water aerobics classes (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30–10:30 AM).
Do the pickleball courts cost extra?
No — there are no court fees and no reservations. Unlimited pickleball on our lighted courts is included with every membership, summer and Off Season alike.
How long has Heights Pool been around?
Since 1948 — 78 years as Alamo Heights’ neighborhood pool, family-run and loved by generations of San Antonio families.
