1st Annual Alamo Heights Chili Cook-Off
The 1st Annual Alamo Heights Chili Cook-Off is Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11 AM to 6 PM in Kellyanne Park and the Heights Pool parking lot at 250 Viesca St. It’s free and open to everyone, presented by the City of Alamo Heights and Heights Pool.
What’s Happening
- Chili cook-off: teams compete for cash prizes
- Live music: headliner The Texases plus an opening act
- Cornhole tournament: bring a partner and your best toss
- Bounce houses: one for big kids, one for little kids
Come hungry. Teams serve free chili samples to the crowd while they last.

We’re looking for 22 teams to battle for cash prizes and bragging rights. Businesses, neighbors and friend groups are all welcome.
- Each team gets a two-parking-space cook site. Bring your own 10×10 tent.
- Spots are limited, so reach out early.
